Many companies may be hesitant about using Facebook as a business tool due to the largely personal content that pervades this giant social media entity.  Its difficult to ignore, however, that Facebook users number in the hundreds of millions and grows at a rate of about 800,000 new users every single day.  Additionally, Facebook seems to welcome the business community by making access to users for commercial purposes a bit “kinder and gentler.”

In this podcast episode, I will take excerpts from Jason Levy’s book, “Facebook for Business” to make a case for establishing a company presence on the “second most used search engine” in the world – Facebook.  I will also go through the basic steps for establishing a Facebook Page, the evolution from the old Fan Pages.

Finally, there is a PDF copy of the presentation for this episode in the Membership Area.  By the way, the presentation document contains a special section not contained in the podcast, that provides instructions on utilizing a powerful new tool – Facebook Ads.
